We distribute our cardboard-cover books for free around the city, mainly by placing them in Little Free Libraries so passersby can find them. If you would like to have any of our titles, you can always drop in at our monthly bookmaking workshops, and make a handcrafted book for yourself.
We have distributed our books for free at public events like the Madison Print and Resist Zinefest and the Milwaukee Celebrating Palestine Cultural Festival.
We have donated books to The New York Public Library, the Islamic Lending Library of the Muslim Women’s Coalition in Wisconsin, the UW Archives and Records Management, the Wisconsin Historical Society, the Small Press Library at the Arts+Literature Laboratory, the Comics Room, and a few Madison school libraries. If you are a librarian and can assist us in getting our books added to local libraries or school libraries’ catalogues so patrons and students can borrow them, please contact us. If you would like to use any of Andaleeb Cartonera’s books for a course, or add it to your curriculum, feel free to contact us as well.
